Dara's Pie Crust & Streusel

Servings: Makes 2 pie crusts, or 1 top and bottom

Ingredients
  • subheading: Pie Crust:
  • 3 C. Flour
  • 1 ¼ C. Butter
  • 1 t. Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 T. Vinegar
  • 5 T. Water
  •  
  • subheading: Streusel Topping:
  • 1 C. Flour
  • ¾ C. Sugar
  • ½ C. Butter
Steps
  1. subheading: Pie Crust:
  2. In large bowl, mix together flour and salt.
  3. Cut in butter until small crumbles.
  4. Add eggs and mix.
  5. Add vinegar and water and stir until just combined. Do not overhandle or dough becomes tough.
  6. subheading: Streusel Topping:
  7. Mix flour and sugar together, then cut in butter until crumbly.
  8. Sprinkle on top of pies, etc.
