- Vegetable oil for frying

- 2 tsp chilli bean paste
- 200 g snow peas, sliced
- Steamed jasmine rice, to serve

- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- subheading: Sauce:
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Marinating time: 30 minutes.
