Healthy Blueberry Apple Crisp (Crumble)
Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (75g) instant oats ( gluten-free if necessary and measured like this)
  • ¼ cup (30g) whole wheat flour or gluten-free* flour (measured like this)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp (30mL) pure maple syrup, room temperature
  • 1 ½ tbsp (21g) unsalted butter or stick-style vegan butter, melted (see Notes!)
  • subheading: FOR THE FILLING:
  • 4 cups (510g) ¼" slices Fuji apple, cut into thirds (about 3 large or 4 medium - and see Notes!)
  • 2 cups (280g) fresh blueberries, freshly washed (see Notes!)
  • 2 tbsp (16g) cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
