Lee's Canadian Butter Tarts
Ingredients

  • Use your favorite pie crust.

  • ⅓ cup (packed) dark brown sugar
  • ¼ cup maple syrup - or Corn Syrup
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly (melted and cooled)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, original recipe said ½tsp.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  •  
  • ½ cup ­chopped pecans (optional but highly recommended)
  • 3 tablespoons raisins (optional)
