Beef Curry with Whole Spices (Bhuna Gosht)
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs beef
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon ginger, coarsely chopped
  • 5 to 6 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
  • 2 to 3 cloves
  • 2 to 3 cinnamon, about 1” each
  • 3 to 4 black cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 6 to 8 black peppercorn
  • 1 to 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 3 tablespoons yogurt
  • 5 to 8 whole red chilli, slited or broken into pieces
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Salt, or according to taste
