Ingredients
  • 3 pounds pickling cucumbers, sliced ¼-inch thick
  • 3 tablespoons of kosher salt
  • 2 large, thinly sliced sweet onions
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 cups of white vinegar
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp. mustard seeds
  • 1 ½ tsp. celery seeds
  • ½ tsp. ground turmeric
  • ¼ to 1tsp. red pepper flakes (optional for a bit of kick)
