Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (I used minced garlic)
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 lb dried rigatoni pasta
  • 4 cups ( 32 ounces) chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (I used 5.3oz container of plain nonfat greek yogurt)
  • 1 (8 ounce) bag of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
