Ingredients

  • TIME UNDER PRESSURE: 6 minutes
  • RELEASE: quick
  • 1 TBSP oil
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 onion - finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper - chopped
  • 1 red pepper - chopped
  • 1 ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 ½ tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes in juice
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ lb dried elbow macaroni (2 cups - I measured)
  • 1 ½ cups grated parmesan or cheddar cheese
  • Turn on saute function, add oil, brown the beef. Avoid breaking up the beef too much, leave it in bigger chunks. Add the onion, peppers, herbs and spices, salt & pepper, and continue to cook for a few minutes, stirring well.
  • Add the tomatoes, stock, ketchup and macaroni. Lock the lid.
  • Cook on HIGH for 6 minutes.
