Ingredients
  • 12 ounces vegan ground beef like Beyond. I used 14 ounces of Beyond Sausage, Hot Italian.
  • 1 small onion diced small
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 15 ounce can lentils drained and rinsed*
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 15 ounce canned tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste. I did not add any salt.
  • 6 buns
