Ingredients
  • 2 ½ cups green lentils brown lentils, cooked (about 1 cup dried)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or ¼ cup water
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 1 medium carrot finely diced
  • 1 28- ounce can crushed tomatoes with basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 8 ounces spaghetti (I used brown rice)
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne pepper optional
