Kaye & Sara's Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn
Ingredients
  • 5 Quarts Popped Popcorn
  • 2 Sticks Butter
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Dark Karo Syrup
  • ½ Tsp. Baking Soda
Steps
  1. Pop the popcorn.  Place in roaster pan.  Boil the butter, sugar and syrup for 5 minutes.  Add the baking soda when done boiling.  Pour over popcorn in roaster and mix.  Put roaster in oven and bake at 250° for 1 hour.  Stirring every 15 minutes.  Pour on to brown paper bag or parchment paper to cool.
