Makki Ki Roti (Punjabi Cornmeal Flatbread)
Ingredients
  • 2 cup Makki ka Aata (Maize flour), + more for rolling, about 225 grams
  • ½ teaspoon Carom seeds (Ajwain), optional
  • ½ Salt
  • 1 ¼ to 2 cup Water, add more as needed
  • Ghee or Oil, for roasting, optional
  • White Butter or Ghee , to spread on cooked roti (optional)
