Amazing, Flavorful (& Easy) Chicken Shawarma
Ingredients
  • 1.5 to 2 lbs (750g) of boneless, skinless chicken thighs (halved)
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of dried coriander
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cloves
  • ½ to 1 teaspoons of cayenne (see notes)
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • To serve:  Slaw and toppings, flatbreads (see notes and overall post)
