  • Insanely delicious vegan coffee cake with kahlua frosting. This isn’t just a cake to eat with your coffee, this is fabulously coffee flavored cake! And it’s vegan, and rich and decadent!

  • 2 cups ( 250g) All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup ( 200g) Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp Instant Coffee Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Hot Water
  • 1 cup (240ml) Soy Milk (or other non-dairy milk)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) Canola Oil*
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Flax Egg

  • ¼ cup ( 56g) Vegan Butter
  • ¼ cup (60ml) Kahlua
  • 1 Tbsp Instant Coffee Powder

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
