Easy General Tso's Chicken
Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 1 ½ pounds)
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, such as Colavita
  • 2 tablespoons silan
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 large fresh red chilies, chopped or 6 small dried
  • Garnish: chopped scallions
