Broccoli Salad

I am a stay at home domestic princess! LOL I dont cook alot, but when I do, I want it to be special..I am mommy to 2 girls and one son, they are grown now.

1 large head of broccoli, or 2 if small

¼ of red onion, chopped

1 c. of raisins

1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

8 slices of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled for topping (if desired)

1 ½ c. mayonnaise

¾ c. sugar

6 T. vinegar
