SHONEY’S BEEF and CABBAGE SOUP Shoney's Restaurant Copycat Recipe
Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ head cabbage
  • 2 celery ribs
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
Steps
  1. Dice the vegetables.
  2. Brown the ground beef. Drain.
  3. Add onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Cook until wilted.
  4. Add the diced cabbage.
  5. Add tomatoes juice and all.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce. Add pepper.
  7. Add 2 cups water and the boullion cubes.
  8. Add drained beans.
  9. Cook 30 minutes.
