Milk bread
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ POUND LOAF
  • 1 ⅛ cups whole milk
  • 1 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, cut into pieces
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons SAF yeast or 2 ½ tablespoon bread machine yeast

  • 2-POUND LOAF

  • 1 ⅓ cups whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, cut into pieces
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 ½ teaspoons SAF yeast or 1 tablespoon bread machine yeast
Steps
  1. Place all the ingredients in the pan according to the
  2. order in the manufacturer’s instructions. Set crust on
  3. medium or dark, and program for the Basic cycle; press
  4. Start. (This recipe is not suitable for use with the Delay
  5. Timer.)
  6. ●2 When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the
  7. bread from the pan and place it on a rack. Let cool to
  8. room temperature before slicing.
