Pumpkin Gingerbread

Ingredients
  • 3 c sugar
  • 1 c oil
  • 4 eggs
  • ----
  • 3.5 c. Ap flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp. each Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice
  • _______
  • One 15oz can pumpkin
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 2 5x9 loaf pans
  2. Mix first 3 ingredients togerher in a large bowl
  3. Sift together dry ingredients
  4. Add sifted ingredients with ⅔ c water alternatively to the creamed mixture.
  5. Beat in 1 1lb. Can of pumpkin. Pour into loaf pans.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until done.
