Southwest Rub for Flat Iron and other Steaks

2 Tbsp. chili powder

2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar

1 Tbsp. ground cumin

2 tsp. minced garlic

2 tsp. cider vinegar

1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

¼ tsp. ground red pepper

1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.

2. Press rub evenly into tender beef steaks before grilling.

3. Turn occasionally to avoid burning. Makes about ¼ cup.
