Malted Chocolate & Stout Layer Cake

4 large eggs, room temperature

3-½ cups sugar

3-½ cups cake flour

2-½ teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup sugar

½ cup Irish cream liqueur

6 large egg yolks, beaten

1-½ teaspoons vanilla extract

1-½ cups butter, softened
