Healthy Chinese Garlic Chicken {15 Minutes}
Ingredients
  • 1.5lb chicken thighs (or breast)
  • 1 stalk of scallion
  • ¼ red bell pepper (optional)
  • 3 to 4 tbsp cooking oil
  • 5 medium cloves of garlic (~2.5 tbsp minced)
  • 1 inch of fresh ginger (~ ½ tbsp minced)

  • 1.5 tbsp arrowroot starch
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • ½ tsp salt or to taste
  • subheading: STIR FRY SAUCE:
  • ⅓ cup coconut aminos
  • ⅓ cup water or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1.5 tbsp arrowroot starch
  • 2 tbsp honey or coconut sugar (omit for Whole30 and Keto option)
