  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese - about 7.5 ounces
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese - plus additional for serving
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes - plus additional to taste
