Turmeric-Yogurt Grilled Chicken
Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ cups plain whole-milk yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons Morton's kosher salt, divided (or 3 ½ teaspoons Diamond Crystal, divided)
  • 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 ½ to 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ cup chopped cilantro leaves with tender stems + lemon wedges (optional)
