Ingredients
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 5 to 6 potatoes of medium size, peeled and cut into small pieces.
  • 1 average-sized onion, diced
  • 3 pieces of minced garlic
  • 3 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • Add salt and pepper according to your preference.
  • 3 cups of whole milk (or half-and-half for a creamier texture)
  • 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese
  • ΒΌ cup of all-purpose flour can be added to thicken the mixture, but it is not necessary.
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (if desired, for extra creaminess)
  • Chopped green onions or fresh parsley can be used to decorate the dish, but it is not necessary.
