BB's Sauteed Crab Meat in Verde Cream Sauce
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ lb crab meat
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup of salsa verde
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • Salt and pepper/Old Bay to taste
Steps
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter, and saute the crab meat. Set aside.
  2. Make a light roux with 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons flour.
  3. Add 1 cup milk and stir until well combined. Add ¼ cup of salsa verde and stir. Bring to a simmer and remove from heat.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons sour cream and the sauteed crab meat. Season to taste and serve warm.
