Bavarian Sauerkraut Salad
Ingredients
  • 1 smaller onion
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 carrot, grated - 1 apple
  • 1 red pepper
  • 500 g Sauerkraut, raw from the jar or pouch, preferably German
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar, mild (optional)
  • salt, pepper to taste, 1 to 2 tbsp sugar (depends how sour the Sauerkraut is)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
