Fusilli with Prosciutto and Peas
Ingredients
  • 1 Lb Fusilli
  • 3 Lbs of Fresh English Peas or 1 lb Bag of Frozen Peas
  • 6 oz, Prosciutto, Diced
  • 2 Cloves, Garlic, Sliced
  • ½ Medium Onion, Diced
  • 1 Teaspoon, Chili Flake
  • ¾ of a Lemon, Juiced
  • 3 Ice Cubes
  • 1 Lightly Packed Cup, Fresh Basil
  • 1 to 2 Cups, Vegetable or Chicken Broth
  • ¾ Cup of Parmigiano Reggiano, Grated
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons, Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon, Unsalted Butter
  • Fresh Peas for Frozen (not necessary, frozen are great)
  • 1 Cup of Sugar Snap Peas
  • Pea Shoots
