A strong salty and sharp sauce for grilled beef and/or vegetables.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup wine
  • 2 Tbsp soy
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp ground thyme
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp cold water
Steps
  1. Add wine to a sauce pan over medium heat. Simmer and reduce by half.
  2. Add soy, brown sugar, lemon pepper, and thyme. Stir until dissolved / well mixed.
  3. Stir cornstarch and water together in a small cup or glass dish. Add to sauce mix and stir to combine. Once thickened, remove from heat and allow to cool.
