Ingredients
  • 1 ½ C Warm Water
  • 1 ⅛ t Yeast
  • 2 T Brown Sugar
  • 1 ⅛ t Salt
  • 3.5 C Flour
  • 0.5 C wheat flour
  • 2 C Warm Water
  • 2 T Baking Soda
  • Butter and Salt or Cinnamon/Sugar
Steps
  1. Sprinkle yeast on water and stir to dissolve
  2. Add Sugar and Salt and stir to dissolve
  3. Add Flour and knead until smooth and elastic
  4. Let rise 30 mins
  5. Make a Baking Soda bath with 1 C water and 1 T baking soda
  6. Shape dough and dip pretzels into bath and place on greased baking sheets (silicone mats)
  7. Allow pretzels to rise again
  8. Bake 450 degrees for 10 minutes
  9. Brush with melted butter and topping of choice
