Ingredients

  • 500 g ( 1 lb) lean beef mince/ground beef

  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cracked black pepper
  • subheading: BURGER SAUCE:
  • 1 cup ( 240 g) whole egg mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped pickles
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 to 2 tbsp water
  • subheading: TO SERVE:
  • 1 large cos/romaine lettuce, cut into strips
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ red onion, finely sliced
  • ¼ cup ( 60 g) pickles, sliced
  • ½ cup ( 50 g) tasty cheese/cheddar, shredded
