Instant pot Marinara Sauce
Ingredients
  • ½ cup EVOO
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can plum tomatoes (or fresh roma tomatoes)
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (6 ounce) water OR red wine
  • 2 Tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
Steps
  1. saute onion in EVOO for 7 to 10 minutes
  2. add garlic and all herbs and salt to warm
  3. add remaining ingredients and stir
  4. cook on high pressure for 4 minutes. quick release
