Easy Homemade Spaghetti Sauce for canning
Ingredients
  • 18 lbs Fresh Tomatoes , cored, peeled and puree’d
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 cups Fresh Onions, chopped
  • 6 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp Oregano, crushed
  • 6 Bay Leaves, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp Canning Salt - (non-iodized)
  • 1 Tbsp or more brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper, coarse ground
  • 1 ½ Tsp Red Pepper, crushed
  • 4 Tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Celery Leaves
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Basil
  •  
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice - Per Quart Jar or 1 T per pint (may replace with citric acid)
