Seven Week Bran Muffins
Ingredients
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups 40% bran flakes
  • ½ cup shortening
  • ½ Cup Non-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • 5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cups bran buds or "All-Bran"
