Ingredients
  • Made a super quick and easy Dal for dinner tonight, which was also mega tasty - in my not very humble opinion lol
  •  
  • 1 cup chana dal (split chickpeas)
  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 or 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 chopped leek (what I had in freezer, so saved time on chopping an onion)
  • 2 stems celery, chopped (also in freezer)
  • couple cups frozen or fresh cauliflower (I used frozen)
  • 2 or 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • Spices to taste (curry powder, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, paprika, turmeric) EDIT: add what you want in terms of spices and your preference, I'm just posting what I used and what turned out well for me
  • 1 lime, juiced (or a lemon)
  • ½ cup frozen peas
