BARBECUED SHRIMP

Ingredients
  • 3 slices bacon, chopped
  • ½ lb butter
  • 2 tbs. Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 ½ tsp. Chili powder
  • ¼ tsp. Basil
  • ¼ tsp. Thyme
  • 1 tsp. Fresh-ground coarse black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbs. Rex crab boil or similar brand
  • ½ tsp. Tabasco
  • 1 ½ lbs. Large shrimp with shells
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a small frying pan, fry bacon until clear.  Add the butter and all other ingredients except the shrimp.  Simmer for 5 min.  Place the shrimp in an open baking dish, and pour sauce over the top.  Stir once to coat all of the shrimp.  Bake uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring twice during the baking process.
