Stuffed Bitter Melon Soup
Ingredients
  • 1 kg bitter melon cut into 3-inch cylinder, core removed
  • 500 g minced pork 17.6 oz
  • 400 g clown/featherback knifefish paste 16 oz (or minced shimp)
  • 15 g dried woodear mushrooms 0.5 oz, soaked in warm water and chopped finely
  • 50 g glass noodle 1.7 oz, soaked in warm water, and chopped
  • 2 tbsp minced shallot
  • 3 liters water
  • 3 tbsp Fish sauce
  • salt, sugar, pepper, mushroom seasoning to taste
