  2. meat:  manual, 60 minutes, quick release, then wrapped the meat in foil.

  5. I kept all the broth and strained it.
  6. Chopped everything and kept the potatoes and carrots separate.
  7. Put the cabbage and meat and broth plus beef broth with some pasta and cooked for 15 minutes though I think less would have been better.  QR.
  8. add the potaoes and carrots and a cornstarch slurry.
Notes
  • alternatively:  Add 3 cups of liquid (beer, beef broth, water, etc) to the pot. Add meat, fat side up on trivet.  90 mins on manual (or meat/stew), high pressure.  After cook time, NPR for 10 mins, then QR.  Remove the trivet and beef. Put veggies (cubed potatoes, carrots and quartered cabbage) in the broth, manual on high for 3 mins, QR.
