Master Sweet Dough Recipe for Yeast Breads
Ingredients
  • 1 cup (8 fl oz, 237 ml) whole milk (lower fat milk can be substituted)
  • 1 package (0.25 oz, 7 gr, or 2 ½ tsp) active dry or quick rise yeast
  • ¼ cup (1.75 oz, 49 gr) granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup (5 ½ TBSP, 2.6oz, 73gr) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 ¼ tsp (6 gr) Morton kosher salt or table salt (use 2 ½ tsp if using Diamond kosher)
  • 4 cups (17oz, 476gr) all-purpose flour
