- 2 oz used kombu (kelp) (55 g, I used Hidaka Kombu from making dashi; See Notes)
- ½ tsp sesame seeds

- 1 Tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar (add more if you prefer the sweet taste)
