Ingredients
- 1 bag of nacho style tortilla chips, crushed
- 3 large jalapeños, halved, sliced
- 1 can of whole kernel corn
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 red onion, diced
- 4 vine ripened tomatoes, diced
- 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Prep all ingredients as listed, toss together into a large bowl, leaving the chips aside.
- Squeeze the juice of a whole lime over it and add salt and pepper to taste. Stir together.
- Add the crushed chips all at once if you plan to eat it all right away. Add per serving if you want left overs so the chips stay crispy.
Notes
- Remove the seeds and white ribbing from the jalapeños for slightly less spice while keeping the bright pepper flavour that high lights the dish.
- Remember to wear gloves if possible while handling hot peppers.
- You can add taco seasoning or any other seasonings to this to change the flavour and suit your tastes.
