Orange Chocolate Cake
The very best! Molds should each weigh 705 G - 670g without the pan
Ingredients
  • 1 ¾ cup (218g) all purpose flour (see notes to measure flour)
  • 1 ½ cup (300g) granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder (natural not dutch)
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup canola, vegetable oil or olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tsp orange extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup orange juice (no added sugar, 100% juice) 2 big oranges freshly squeezed
  • ½ cup water
  • Optional Garnish: Candied oranges.
