Sourdough Discard Crackers
Ingredients
  • 75g flour
  • 25g oil
  • 2g salt
  • 150g unfed starter (aka discard)
  • Seasoning
Steps
  1. Mix together until all dry bits are incorporated and let sit overnight to develop flavor. Next day, use a rolling pin to make 1 thin layer (~⅛"). You can also add in some seasonings before you roll out as well. Then top with seasoning and gently press it into the dough sheet. Use a pizza cutter to then cut lines into the dough to make your desired cracker shape. Lastly, bake at 350' for 15 to 17 minutes. They should be lightly browned, not darkened (or else they'll taste burnt). Let cool on the sheet if you can wait and they will crisp up even further. Enjoy!
