Ingredients
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ c flour
  • ½ T salt
  • 1 t pepper
  • ½ t basil
  • ½ t oregano
  • 5 T olive oil
  • 1 T minced garlic (about 4 to 5 cloves)
  • 1 red bell pepper--cut into thin strips
  • ½ c chicken broth
  • 6 oz fresh spinach (we didn't have this so I left it out--next time though)
  • ½ c heavy cream
  • 2 t cornstarch
  • 1 c lowfat milk
  • 1 c freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz fettuccine noodles (half a package)
