We sautéed the mushrooms in butter, then made a roux with flour, and the broth, and milk, or sour cream. Served mashed potatoes with the meat patties on top, then the gravy over all. Could serve a veg. like asparagus on the side, or put carrots in with the mashed pots. So good.
Ingredients
  • 1 lb US Wellness Meats 75% lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup almond meal
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp each salt, ground mustard, and onion powder
  • 5oz (½ package) sliced white mushrooms
  • 2 cups beef broth/stock
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream (coconut milk okay)
  • 2 tsp potato or arrowroot starch
