One pot chicken sausage with orzo
Ingredients
  • 16 oz. Box of orzo
  • 8 oz. sun dried tomatoes
  • 32 oz. Chicken broth
  • 1 block Boursin garlic & herb cheese
  • 2 chicken sausages (your choice of flavor)
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • Olive oil for moisture
  • 1tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • Crushed red pepper flakes
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In the middle of a Dutch oven set 1 block of Boursin cheese and sprinkle orzo around the cheese in the bottom.
  3. Sprinkle sun dried tomatoes in oil on top of orzo.
  4. Cut/break up chicken sausage into small chunks and add to the top of orzo.
  5. Sprinkle in minced garlic. Generously drizzle olive oil over all ingredients.
  6. Sprinkle oregano, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes on top.
  7. Dump in chicken broth and put lid on Dutch oven.
  8. Bake in oven for one hour.
  9. Once out of the oven, stir ingredients together and top with fresh parsley and serve.
