One Pot Lau Lau..Family Style by Rich Lum

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds Taro leaves
  • 2 pounds Pork Shoulder
  • Hawaiian Sea Salt
  • 2 cups of water
Steps
  1. Prep Taro leaves..remove and chop stems into 1" pieces..wash taro leaves well
  2. Cut pork into 2" cubes, sprinkle each piece with sea salt
  3. Pour the water into your pot
  4. Add your Taro stems
  5. Layer half the leaves into the pot and add a tablespoon of sea salt on top
  6. Stack your cubed pork on top of the leaves
  7. Layer the other half of leaves on top
  8. Close and seal your lid and set the pot to manual 90 minutes.
  9. QR when cooking has finished

  • Can be served over rice
