  • 5 jarred hot cherry peppers, seeded, rinsed, and sliced thin (½ cup), plus 2 tablespoons brine
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper
