PAT’S cheeseburger in a bowl

Ingredients
  • 500 gms minced beef
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 red onion chopped
  • 2 teaspoon lazy garlic in vinegar or fresh garlic cloves minced
  • 2 teaspoons Maggi liquid seasoning
  • good few shakes Worcester sauce
  • 200 gms Asda frozen base mix defrosted
  • 300 gms light mature cheddar cheese grated
  • 2 balls light mozzarella chopped up
  • 50 mls red wine for deglazing inner pot or use water
  • 1 knorr beef cube
  • 200 mls boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • I added about 10 sweet piquant peppers from a jar chopped up
  • 400 gm Penne or Fuisilli pasta
Steps
  1. put ½ the oil the inner pot, Sauté the onion for a few minutes, add the garlic sauté for a few more minutes. Add the peppers saute for a few minutes then remove from the inner. Add the rest of the oil and add the mince and sauté until brown add the maggi liquid seasoning and Worcester sauce and stir through. Pour in the red wine and saute for a few minutes. whilst scraping the bottom of the inner or deglaze with 50 ml of the boiling water, Press cancel and stir the vegetables, mix the stock cube with the other 150 ml of boiling water stir until dissolved and add to the pot and mix through, put themtin of chopped tomatoes on top. Set to sealing and 25 minutes Manual let it go to NPR for 60 minutes this enhances the flavour. Cook 400gms Penne or fusilli pasta on the hob drain and stir through the mix. Then stir through ½ the grated cheese. put ito an oven proof dish and top with the rest of the cheese and chopped mozzarella. Put in a preheated oven at 180 for aporox 30 minutes or the mozzarella has melted.
