Lentil Turkey Mash

Ingredients
  • For lentils
  • 1 C Lentils (I used green)
  • ½ onion finely chopped
  • 2.5 C chicken stock
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  •  
  • For Turkey
  • 1lb ground turkey
  • 1 C salsa (or tomato based sauce)
  • 2 tsp garam masala seasoning
  • 1 tbs cumin
  • garlic powder to taste
  • garlic salt to taste
  •  
  • Cooked rice or potatoes to serve over (optional)
Steps
  1. Put all ingredients for Lentils in instant pot.
  2. Saute on Hi till onion and garlic are browned
  3. Pressure cook manual 15 min, NPR
  4. subheading: For Turkey:
  5. In a wok or deep fry pan Saute ground turkey till cooked
  6. Add all seasonings and finished lentils
  7. Serve over rice or potatoes and sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
  • Total fridge dump. Delish
